On 1 January 2010 three Finnish educational institutions, leaders in their respective sectors, were merged into a new entity – the Aalto University. Helsinki School of Economics is part of this University and currently operates under the name of the Aalto University School of Economics. The innovative project to merge the schools paved the way for other multidisciplinary schools.

The AUSE Executive MBA Program (run since 1988) is designed for managerial staff working in the global environment. It is driven by the international perspective which is made all the more evident by the presence of teachers from the best schools of business in the world. The Aalto University School of Economics belongs to the „Program in International Management” (PIM) consortium gathering 52 best economic schools from all over the world. Membership in this organization allows for student exchanges, encourages cooperation between researchers and facilitates joint undertakings. The global network of programs is comprised of schools from Helsinki, Poznan, Seoul, Beijing, Singapore and Taiwan. In addition, the Aalto University School of Economics is a member of the „Community of European Management Schools” (CEMS) along with 17 best European economic schools and 50 renowned international companies.
The Poznan School of Banking was founded on the initiative of TEB Akademia Higher Education Development Centre in 1994. It is the first of nine Higher Schools of Banking operating on the market as one of the best business school groups in Poland. The School has had its branch in Chorzow since 1998 and the Economic Faculty in Szczecin since 2008.

Ever since the School of Banking has existed, its authorities and teachers have put great emphasis on the quality of education and providing more opportunities for developing practical skills. In 2010 , the School was ranked first in Wielkopolska by the „Home & Market” monthly (April 2010). It has thus managed to retain its position as the best non-state education institution in Wielkopolska, winning the title 10 times in a row.
